Title: Rootless Nomad

If you look up Rootless in the dictionary it gives you this as a definition:

1. having no roots.
2. having no basis of stability; unsteady: a rootless feeling.
3. having no place or position in society: a rootless wanderer.

Similar definitions are found for the word Nomad:

1. A member of a group of people who have no fixed home and move according to the seasons from place to place in search of food, water, and grazing land.
2. A person with no fixed residence who roams about; a wanderer.

I was struck with inspiration for this mix when listening to my ipod at work one night. The song Rootless came up and I thought of the journey of a nomad, a vagrant, a wanderer.... There are many reasons one would turn to the open road: Restlessness, a broken heart, homelessness, the adventure, or running away. I put together this mix to represent those reasons.

I also had my own journey/road trip during this project. Every photo in this post is one that I took with my own camera.
