Dear Photobucket bastards,

When I upload something I would really like to find it at the top of the album.... Not mixed in for me to play hide and seek with the other 255 pictures in the album.

I have yet to find a GOOD thing about this new way you are running things.

You suck.

RIGHT! I want it just the way it was! It worked exactly how I wanted it to! It didn't need adjustments!

I totally agree with you! This new configuration is so confusing that I have uploaded the same pic three times more than once because I couldn't find it where I thought I put it. This new Photobucket sucks like a Hoover. >:(

Heh. I was just tweeting earlier about how this new Photobucket drives me insane. I hate that they got rid of features that I used and appreciated for ... ones I don't.
For your issue, though, if you click on your name and go into settings and then into album settings, you can set it so new photos are at the top of each album. I bet yours is set for alphabetical or something like that!

Yeah, all the features I'm used to are gone - all of them. They changed everything. :/

Do what I did, and move your stuff to Flickr. Why waste your time on a site that clearly doesn't care what its users think? This isn't the first time we've all had to deal with something like this...remember a little thing called LiveJournal? O_o

Does flickr work well with codes and stuff?

I am scared to start all over with a photohost.. I have pictures from before Belle was born on PB.. I have been using it for at least 8 years. I have blog pictures from my mommy blogging days.. pics like this of my husband...



and a zillion landcomms worth of stuff from modding and playing.. If I started over it would be everything from now on.. forget moving the thousands of pics already on pb.

I hear ya on not wanting to start over- I have close to 7k of photos on PB, and only a few hundred on Flickr.

Flickr does good with codes and such. And they're way easier to find the photos you want, that you just uploaded without having to jump through hoops to get to them.

I think PB was trying to become Flickr and failed miserably.

I haven't actually moved anything over to Flickr YET, but I plan to. I guess I'll do it in stages, as I need things that are stored on PB I'll copy them over at that time. No point in breaking all my links from before.

If DW would just get a scrapbooking module like LJ has, we could eliminate this problem completely, at least as far as DW posting is concerned.

But ... flickr won't let me sign in without forcing me to use my yahoo account. Even when I log out of yahoo it wants me to use it. UGH. Instant hate for the site since it won't let me register without verifying my yahoo which I only use for family and don't want to register with.

And why does it even have a register w/ goggle option if it still wants my yahoo stuff after registering with google?

I absolutely detest the new PB. I really detest having to ask to have the damn recurring payments shut off, that I cannot do it myself. They forced me over to it a week before it was supposed to go live for everyone.

They 'took feedback' in the forums, but when they weren't getting the accolades they wanted, they'd lock the threads and start new ones. Then they just started threads with 'updates' and wouldn't allow any comments on them.
